Job summary

RealNetworks, Inc. (SAFR) seeks a Sales Engineer to support its European growth across biometric access control and surveillance.

The role is remote with 30–50% travel in Europe, engaging distributors and integrators, delivering compelling demonstrations, and leading PoCs to validate SAFR solutions in customers' environments. You will work with the European sales team, design integrations with PACS/VMS platforms and edge deployments, and contribute to partner enablement.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in Sales Engineering or related customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong presentation and communication skills to deliver demos and workshops.
• Full English proficiency.
• Interest or experience in security, access control, video surveillance, or AI/vision solutions.
• Comfortable supporting technical evaluations and PoC deployments.
• Strong problem-solving and quick learning in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the European sales team on technical opportunities from discovery through evaluation and close.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and partners.
• Design solution architectures integrating SAFR software with customer systems including PACS/VMS, IP cameras, networking, REST APIs and edge deployments.
• Lead PoC deployments and ensure success criteria are met.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during evaluations and early deployments.
• Enable partners through integrator training, solution positioning and reference deployments.
• Share field feedback with product and engineering.
• Travel 30–50% across Europe for meetings, demos, training, and PoCs.
