Job summary

Hawaiian Poké Bowl is opening a new restaurant at Kinepolis Antwerp in mid-December and seeks a Restaurant Manager to build a strong team and drive a successful launch. You will spend 70–80% of your time on the restaurant floor, lead by example, and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will recruit, coach, motivate, and develop your team, manage inventory and scheduling, and uphold HACCP standards while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

For the opening of our new restaurant at Kinepolis Antwerp, scheduled for mid-December, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager who is ready to build a strong team and make this new opening a success.

What are your responsibilities?

As a Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of your restaurant. You keep an overview, take ownership, and ensure that both your team and operational results are performing at their best.

You play an active role in the opening of our new restaurant, ensuring a strong start from day one.

You spend 70–80% of your working time actively on the restaurant floor, working alongside your team, leading by example, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

You are responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the restaurant.

You recruit, coach, motivate, and develop your team to achieve the best results together.

You manage inventory, orders, staff scheduling, and KPIs.

You ensure an excellent guest experience and handle any complaints professionally.

You maintain our quality, safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP).

You analyse performance, identify areas for improvement, and take initiative to bring your restaurant to the next level.

You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and support your team whenever needed.

Who are you?

You are a true team player with strong leadership skills, a sense of responsibility, and a healthy dose of Aloha spirit!

You have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality as a manager , preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You have experience leading, coaching, and motivating a team.

You are a hands-on leader who enjoys being on the restaurant floor and actively working alongside the team.

You have knowledge of operational processes such as staff scheduling, inventory management, and KPIs.

You are familiar with HACCP guidelines and work accurately.

You are guest-focused, solution-oriented, and able to stay calm and organised during busy periods.

You take initiative, are confident in making decisions, and take ownership of your responsibilities.

You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends.

You are willing to complete training at other Hawaiian restaurants during your onboarding period to ensure you are fully prepared for the opening.
