Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment's client, a growing investment fund active in impact investing, is seeking a Project Officer to coordinate and drive a broad range of operational initiatives across fundraising, governance, and special projects.

You will combine project management, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement with hands-on business support, taking ownership of ad hoc projects and contributing to investor materials, data rooms, and cross‑functional initiatives.

Our client is a growing investment fund active in the impact investing space, supporting businesses that generate both financial returns and measurable social or environmental impact.

To support its continued growth, they are looking for a Project Officer to coordinate and drive a broad range of operational initiatives. The role combines project management, stakeholder coordination, process improvement and business support, offering exposure to fundraising, operations, governance, and special projects across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Special Projects

• Lead and coordinate special projects across the firm.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of AI tools and best practices.
• Support the development of stakeholder engagement plans.
• Organize networking events and relationship-building activities with market participants.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency.

Stakeholder Coordination and investor process

• Prepare for the fundraising team the fundraising materials and investor documentation.
• Manage and maintain the investor data room.
• Liaise with external stakeholders including legal counsel, accountants, and advisors.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, and key milestones throughout the fundraising process.

Executive & Business Support

• Act as a trusted sparring partner to the Managing Partner.
• Support contract reviews and supplier management.
• Prepare presentations, reports and management materials.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure successful execution.
• Take ownership of ad hoc business-critical projects as they arise.

DESIRED PROFILE

• A first working experience (min. 2-3 yrs) is required
• Background in consulting, project management, operations, corporate development, or a similarly broad business-oriented role.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
• Hands-on, proactive, and highly autonomous.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
