Morgan Philips Executive Search is partnering with a Brussels-based wealth/asset management client to recruit a Fund Governance & Operations Manager. The role oversees the administrative, regulatory, and operational governance of several investment funds and liaises with regulators and service providers.

You will coordinate reporting, board materials, tax filings, and data governance, ensuring timely, accurate fund information and compliance across the portfolio, in a dynamic international

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fund administration, asset management, custody services, or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to investment funds.
• Good understanding of fund taxation and reporting requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality.
• Fluency in French and English is required; Dutch is considered a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Manage the day-to-day administrative and regulatory activities of multiple investment funds.
• Monitor and coordinate regulatory deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Support the preparation of annual and semi-annual financial reports.
• Review and validate regulatory and operational reporting.
• Prepare Board meetings and supporting governance documentation.
• Ensure proper maintenance of corporate and UBO-related information.
• Act as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
• Review tax filings and withholding tax exemption processes.
• Oversee tax-related obligations affecting the funds.
• Coordinate the issuance of investor tax certificates and related documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of investor communications.
• Provide support and expertise to internal commercial and relationship management teams.
• Produce or coordinate periodic fund reporting.
• Liaise with custodians, asset managers, administrators, auditors, and other service providers.
• Ensure consistency and quality of operational and financial data.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Monitor fund-related fees and expenses.
• Review and control invoices and associated calculations.
• Verify data disclosed in investor reporting and fund factsheets.
• Ensure the accuracy of fund tax and operational parameters.
• Support initiatives aimed at strengthening data governance and control frameworks.
• Participate in fund launches, restructuring projects, and strategic developments.
• Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams on prospectus updates and regulatory documentation.
• Oversee the maintenance of PRIIPs and other investor disclosure documents.
• Promote fund knowledge internally and support business stakeholders.
• Contribute to governance activities and ongoing enhancement of the fund platform.

Our client, a well-established player in the wealth management and asset management industry, is currently seeking a Fund Governance & Operations Manager to strengthen its Brussels-based team.

About the Role

As a Fund Governance & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the administrative, regulatory, and operational oversight of several investment funds. Acting as a central point of coordination between internal stakeholders, external service providers, custodians, and regulatory authorities, you will ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of key fund administration activities.

This is a highly visible position offering exposure to fund governance, regulatory matters, taxation, reporting, and strategic fund development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Administration & Regulatory Oversight

• Manage the day-to-day administrative and regulatory activities of multiple investment funds.
• Monitor and coordinate regulatory deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Support the preparation of annual and semi-annual financial reports.
• Review and validate regulatory and operational reporting.
