EmpHire seeks an experienced Transformation Project Manager to lead strategic change initiatives across our financial services organization. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver programs that drive growth, compliance, digital innovation, and customer experience improvements.

Working across business and technology teams, you will manage end-to-end delivery, governance, benefits realization, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum preferred.
• Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is an asset.
• Fluent in English and French and/or Dutch.

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic change initiatives across our financial services organization. The successful candidate will manage complex transformation programs that support business growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, digital innovation, and customer experience improvements.

Working across business and technology functions, the Transformation Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects that drive organizational change while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project and Program Delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation projects, from initiation through implementation and post-deployment review.
• Develop project plans, governance frameworks, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, quality standards, and business outcomes.
• Coordinate multiple workstreams across business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, and external partners.

Transformation and Change Management

• Support the design and execution of strategic transformation initiatives, including digital, operational, regulatory, and organizational change programs.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment across all levels of the organization.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions to define future-state processes and operating models.
• Promote adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working through structured change management activities.
• Track realization of business benefits and transformation objectives.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior executives, business leaders, and project sponsors.
• Provide regular status updates, executive reporting, and governance committee presentations.
• Manage expectations and facilitate decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Act as a trusted advisor on project delivery, transformation methodology, and organizational change.

Governance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, and audit trails.
• Escalate key risks and issues appropriately and propose mitigation actions.
• Support regulatory and compliance-driven initiatives where required.

Financial and Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure tracking.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure effective project delivery.
• Monitor vendor performance and support procurement activities where relevant.
• Ensure optimal utilization of project resources.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent preferred.
• Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is considered an asset.
  
• Fluent in English & French and/or Dutch

Experience

• 5–10+ years of project management experience within financial services, banking, insurance, asset management, payments, or fintech environments.
• Proven track record delivering complex transformation, digital, operational excellence, or regulatory change programs.
• Experience managing cross-functional and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and change management practices.
• Experience working in regulated environments is essential

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
• Expertise in project planning, budgeting, reporting, and governance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Business and Transformation

• Understanding of financial services operating models and regulatory environments.
• Experience with process improvement and transformation frameworks.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into executable project plans.

Leadership and Communication

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong presentation and executive communication abilities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams without direct authority.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
