Job summary

Elia Group is seeking a Product Manager Compliance to ensure all assets connected to Elia’s grid meet applicable technical requirements. You will translate regulatory demands into contractual specs, verify compliance during commissioning and throughout asset lifecycles, and provide clear compliance information to Grid Users and operations teams.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Engineering.
• At least five years of experience in product management, market design, regulatory design, or a similar role.
• Ability to operate effectively in a new role and evolving organisational environment.
• Demonstrated experience in owning and shaping regulatory or market frameworks, including engagement with regulators or comparable authorities.
• Successful track record in multi-stakeholder environments balancing interests and driving alignment.
• Professional proficiency in English and in either Dutch or French, with working knowledge of the other language.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product scope from discovery through adoption and retirement.
• Translate regulatory requirements into contractual specifications and verify compliance.
• Coordinate implementation with Product Owners and delivery teams.
• Engage with customers, operations teams, market participants, regulators and internal stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
• Develop digital solutions that improve efficiency, transparency and oversight; adapt requirements as grid challenges evolve.
