Elia Group is seeking a Product Owner for the NSM Product Team within SGS to drive digital solutions for grid needs and investment decision support. You will connect business needs with IT delivery, define clear outcomes, and steer a cross-functional team through the product lifecycle.

The role operates in a hybrid setup across two Brussels sites, with strong focus on collaboration, stakeholder alignment and delivering high-value grid development capabilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering profile with master level or equivalent by experience.
• Proven experience as Product Owner, Product Manager or similar role in an Agile, digital or product-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of the energy sector and TSO Grid Development context.
• Experience with infrastructure needs management tools, data governance or productization of business-critical tools.
• Able to translate expert user needs into clear product outcomes, backlog priorities and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-alignment skills.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate professionally in Dutch and/or French.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Needs & Storyline Management Product Team, coordinating IT developers, business analysts and testers.
• Translate understanding into a clear product vision, roadmap and prioritized backlog.
• Maintain accountability for product priorities and outcomes through the full lifecycle (discovery to adoption).
• Collaborate with Grid Development experts and other stakeholders to solve business problems.
