The opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Liability and Property Claims Handler to join our team based in our Belgium (Antwerp) office. This role involves claims handling cases using agreed claims processes to achieve settlement and business objectives. You will spend the majority of your time handling interesting claims, reviewing policy wordings, managing customer/ third party interactions and liaising with suppliers like lawyers and surveyors. You will have strong communication, negotiation, and organisation skills and will be part of a nice and high qualified team.

Some of the Claims Handler responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing allocated cases and achieving settlement, within designated personal authority level, in line with established standards, procedures and guidance provided. .
• Managing customer interactions in an efficient, courteous and timely manner in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Organizing and using approved internal and/or external suppliers to ensure repair, replacement and supply of appropriate goods and services to customers. .
• Contributing to the production of new policy wordings or reviews of existing policy wordings to ensure policy documentation is current and accurate. Living Intact’s values Integrity, Respect, Excellence, Customer-driven, Generosity and being a role model for our Leadership success factors.
