Robson Bale Ltd is seeking a Lead Business Analyst on a freelance 12-month contract in West-Vlaanderen. The role is hybrid and requires 2-3 days on site, with a daily rate of €550 and Dutch language.

You will co-lead a team of functional analysts, shape BA processes, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive delivery in sales/marketing/eCommerce domains, including AI-related process improvements. Responsabilidades

• Co-lead and develop a team of functional/business analysts: set direction, priorities, and quality standards for the team's work.
• Build, own, and continuously improve business analysis processes and ways of working across the organisation.
• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, customers, and engineering/delivery teams.
• Facilitate discussions, align conflicting viewpoints, and drive decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Own customer communication and ensure business needs are correctly understood and represented.
• Sales and marketing domain BA with an eCommerce background; document requirements and define processes.
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose them, and drive them through to completion.

Team & process leadership

• Co-lead and develop a team of functional/business analysts: set direction, priorities, and quality standards for the team's work

Stakeholder & customer engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, customers, and engineering/delivery teams
• Facilitate discussions, align conflicting viewpoints, and drive decisions with senior stakeholders
• Own customer communication and ensure business needs are correctly understood and represented

Analysis & delivery

• Sales and marketing domain business analysis, with an eCommerce background
• Business process documentation, requirements gathering and definition
• Problem definition and root-cause analysis
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose them, and drive them through to completion

Requirements

Soft skills & leadership

• Very strong soft skills: stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and consulting
• Proven experience managing or leading a team of business/functional analysts
• Very strong problem-solving skills- able to break down ambiguous, complex problems and drive them to resolution
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Comfortable operating in a constantly changing environment; able to adjust priorities and approach as circumstances shift
• Ownership mindset - sees improvements through from idea to completion, not just identification

Domain & process knowledge

• Strong understanding of delivery processes and business workflows in a B2B / eCommerce context
• Experience as a business analyst in the sales and marketing domain, with an eCommerce background
• Understanding of the 2-speed IT model (running stable legacy systems alongside fast-moving modernisation tracks)
• Understands how to promote, introduce, and apply AI in day-to-day work to optimise processes and team efficiency
