Job summary

Automotive Client is seeking a Functional Analyst with 2+ years of experience in business analysis and IT delivery for a permanent role in Willebroek, Belgium. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical documentation, while supporting testing and quality assurance.

You will work within the Analyst Centre of Excellence, driving standards, policies, and initiatives across domains and ensuring alignment between business and IT

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with Master’s degree or 4+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements with business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for development and IT stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate options and propose solutions.
• Clear communication to align business and IT stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery, SDLC, and Domain Driven Design.
• Solid knowledge in a technical, scientific, or specialised field.
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude with diversity awareness.
• Experience in MSP-compatible environments; ECBA certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contributor within the Analyst Centre of Excellence and collaborate in teams.
• Drive the Analyst community with ownership and initiatives across domains.
• Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for developers and IT stakeholders.
• Propose IT solutions and contribute to the product backlog with business counterparts.
• Define testing requirements with QA and testing teams; support quality assurance.
• Support project delivery with status reporting and updates to leadership.
• Participate in product quality reviews and suggest improvements.
• Perform go-and-see follow-ups to understand real operations and opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between onshore and offshore team members and stay informed about IT evolutions.

Job Description

• Drive the Analyst community with ownership and enthusiasm, contributing to standards, policies, ideas, and initiatives applicable across domains


• Gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements together with business stakeholders


• Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for development teams and IT stakeholders


• Propose IT solutions for business ideas and contribute to the product backlog with the business counterpart and Domain Lead


• Define testing requirements with business, Domain Lead, QA, and testing teams; support quality assurance by validating functional logic


• Support project delivery by contributing to and reviewing status reporting; provide regular updates to the Domain Lead and Analyst CoE Team Lead


• Participate in product quality reviews and suggest improvements to ensure high-quality applications and services


• Perform regular "go and see" follow-ups to understand real business operations and identify issues and opportunities


• Support investigations and analysis by leveraging knowledge of relevant data sources and applications


• Act as spokesperson and subject matter expert for your project, serving as liaison between onshore and offshore team members


• Stay informed about IT evolutions and work with the Domain Lead on proposals to keep products current and future-proof
