Qualifications

• Approximately 7–10 years of experience in business analysis, functional analysis, process improvement or IT change delivery.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance or another regulated industry.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into functional requirements and implementable solutions.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary IT teams.
• Experience supporting projects through the delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation and validation.
• Practical experience with Agile delivery methodologies and structured requirements management.
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

Business Analyst - Freelance - Financial Services - Brussels

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for our client in the financial industry to support business transformation initiatives, process optimisation and technology delivery within a large, international financial services organisation.

The successful candidate will act as a key link between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear, structured and implementable functional requirements. The role involves working across multiple business areas, analysing complex processes, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting the delivery of solutions that meet business, operational and regulatory requirements.

The Senior Business Analyst will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and impact assessment through functional design, testing, implementation and post-production support.

This position requires strong analytical capabilities, an understanding of banking processes, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience
