Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. in Ghent, Belgium, invites applications for an Application Engineer in Lab Informatics Software. You will support customers with OpenLab Sync workflows, configure platforms, and build plugins to connect instruments and display forms.

Ideal candidates combine hands-on laboratory experience with software implementation skills, and are fluent in English (Dutch or French a plus). The role offers hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications

• University degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, CS or related field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, biobanks, pharma, biopharma, genomics or related areas.
• Experience with LIMS/ELN/LES and lab workflow systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customers' needs and translate them into OpenLab Sync workflows.
• Configure the OpenLab Sync platform to match lab requirements.
• Build plugins for connecting instruments or displaying forms/portals.
• Act as the customer voice to influence future product design.
• Script lab in-silico tools into the integration framework.
