Job summary

Agilent Technologies Ghent (Belgium) seeks an Application Engineer in the Customer Success team to support our Lab informatics solutions. You will travel to labs and continuously learn about new software, instruments, and consumables while applying strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The role is based in Ghent with a hybrid model after onboarding (3 days in office, 2 days at home). You will work with LIMS/ELN/LES and contribute to product improvements through direct customer

Qualifications

Proven coding skills in Java or Python.
Experience working directly with customers.
Full proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Analyze customers' needs and translate them into OpenLab Sync workflows.
Configure the OpenLab Sync platform to match the lab's requirements.
Build plugins for connecting instruments or displaying custom forms or portals.
Act as the customer voice to influence future product design to meet customer needs.
Script a lab's in‑silico tools into our integration framework.
