As an **Application Engineer** part of the Customer Success team in **Ghent (Belgium)**, you will support our valued customers across our Lab informatics product solutions. A curious individual who is driven to learn and has the desire to understand and solve customer problems to deliver customer success will succeed in this position This position will be based in our offices in **Ghent (Belgium)**, with the flexibility to work on a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days at home) after the onboarding period.## ## **Qualifications** **Qualifications:**We are looking for motivated individuals with the following background:* University Degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Scientific Informatics, or a related discipline (or alternatively solid relevant experience in this application engineering field)* **Hands-on laboratory experience** inanalytical chemistry, biobanks, pharma, biopharma, genomics, NGS, Academia, etc.* Preferred experience with LIMS, ELN, LES, SDMS, CDS, laboratory automation, scientific software, or laboratory workflow management systems.* You have knowledge of programming languages such as **Java** or **Python** with proven coding skills* Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, laboratory users, or cross-functional project teams is highly desirable.* **Full proficiency** in **English**. Proficiency in Dutch and/or French would be a plus On a personal level, you possess great **problem solving** / **analytical skills, and** you are **eager to learn** about new software technology, instruments, applications, and consumables.
