Job summary

Michael Page (Belgium) is seeking an HRBP to support the Benelux region, acting as the main contact for employees and managers and guiding on HR policies and processes. You will manage full employee lifecycles and collaborate with management on employee relations matters.

Responsibilities include payroll administration across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg, HR reporting, contract management, benefits, sickness absence, and ensuring compliance with labor law in the Benelux region.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of relevant HR & Administrator experience.
• Fluent in Dutch, French & English (both written and verbal).
• Strong administration skills.
• Practical working knowledge of employment legislation (HR administration, sickness management).
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail, accurate and structured.
• Proactive and fully committed to all aspects of work.

Responsibilities

• Act as a main contact for employees and managers.
• Provide guidance on internal HR policies and processes to support consistent decisions.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities, from onboarding through to internal changes and departures.
• Work with managers to address employee relations matters in a fair and timely way.
• Payroll Administration: responsible for payroll-related activities in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg; provide mutations to external providers.
• Provide HR information/reporting to management: monitor HR metrics and provide data for decisions.
• Preparation of employment contracts & new hire/leaver documentation and support employees through onboarding to offboarding.
• Keep track of contract lifecycle: manage end dates, extensions, terminations, changes and development plans in writing and systems.
• Benefits Administration: manage healthcare, pension, leave days, etc.
• Absence & Health Management: monitor sickness absence policy and reintegration planning.
• Employee & Manager Support: primary contact for HR admin queries and guidance to managers.
• Compliance & Legal Watch: monitor social legislation and ensure compliance with labor law across Benelux.
