Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an HRBP to support the Benelux region from Brussels. The role acts as the main contact for employees and managers, guiding on HR policies and processes while managing onboarding, changes and departures.

You will handle payroll-related activities across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, provide HR data and reporting to management, and oversee contracts, benefits and sickness management. Strong language skills and cross-border experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
• 5+ years in HR/administration roles.
• Fluent in Dutch, French & English (written and spoken).
• Strong administration skills.
• Knowledge of employment legislation (HR admin, sickness management).
• MS-Office proficiency, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, accurate and structured.
• Proactive and fully committed to all aspects of work.
• Efficient with tight deadlines and multi-tasking.
• Able to interact with employees, managers and external contacts.
• Trustworthy with high ethics and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for employees and managers.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and processes to support consistent decisions.
• Manage onboarding, changes and departures in the employee lifecycle.
• Address employee relations matters in a fair and timely way.
• Payroll mutations for Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg to external providers.
• Provide HR information and reporting to management (turnover, absenteeism, headcount).
• Prepare employment contracts and new hire/leaver documentation.
• Track contract end dates and ensure extensions or changes are documented.
• Manage benefits administration (healthcare, pension, leave days).
• Monitor sickness absence policy and reintegration planning.
• Support employees and managers with day-to-day HR admin queries.
• Ensure compliance with labour law and Benelux regulations.
