V2X is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to deliver Tier-2 IT support in a mission-driven environment. You will diagnose hardware, software, and network issues, guide users through solutions, and escalate complex problems using Remedy.

The role covers AD, DNS, server maintenance, patching, and scripting with PowerShell. Travel to offsite locations may be required; strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in Computer Science, MIS, IS, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Active secret clearance required.
• 3+ years of practical IT/IS experience in an operational environment; DoD 8570.1‑M standards may apply.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, and related enterprise services.
• Proficient with PowerShell and scripting to automate tasks.
• Experience with patch management and enterprise software deployment tools.

Responsabilités

• Install, operate, maintain, and upgrade ADPE including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments; diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Manage SMS/MOM/SCOM, SCCM, WSUS for patches and deployments.
• Respond to tickets per SLA; document resolutions and actions.
• Provide onsite and remote end-user support; travel to offsite locations as needed.
• Maintain documentation and configurations for systems and networks.
