V2X is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to apply expertise in Windows Server environments, AD, and network services. The role includes desktop/server maintenance, patch management, scripting with PowerShell, and incident resolution in a mixed operating environment.

The ideal candidate will hold an advanced IT skill set, hold an active secret clearance, and be prepared for occasional travel to support offsite locations. Strong communication and problem‑solving are essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma required; bachelor’s preferred in Computer Science or related field.
DoD 8570.1‑M aligned certifications or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years in an operational IT environment with information systems exposure.
Active secret clearance required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

Install, operate, maintain, and upgrade ADPE including servers and PCs.
Manage Windows Server, AD, DNS, print queues, and patch updates.
Provide onsite and remote support to end users; travel for offsite locations as needed.
Utilize PowerShell to automate routine tasks and scripts.
Respond to tickets per SLA; document actions and outcomes in the work order system.
Support enterprise applications and network services through design, testing, and implementation.
Coordinate with technical staff for complex repairs or referrals.
