A leading management services company in Belgium is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide deskside and on-site support. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting PCs, operating systems, and MS Office applications. Strong communication skills are essential, alongside an understanding of ITIL processes. A+ Certification is preferred. This role requires direct interaction with customers, focusing on solving technical issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years hands-on experience in deskside/on-site support.
• Experience in troubleshooting network and datacenter equipment.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands & feet support for network and datacenter equipment.
• Assist end users with desktop and mobile device issues.
• Setup and troubleshoot audio/video equipment in conference rooms.

Hands-on experience with deskside/on-site support

Troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems

Troubleshooting MS Office applications

Strong desktop support knowledge

Tasks

Minimum 2-5 Yrs hands on experience as deskside /Onsite support/local IT engineer

Experience in Providing Hands & feet Support for Network and Datacenter Equipment's/Devices

Strong Microsoft Operating System installation (Win 7 & Win10) and troubleshooting skills

Strong experience in troubleshooting MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Strong desktop support knowledge including hardware, software, and networking concepts

Strong skills in Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks and Printers and Handhelds

Basic understanding of Audio/Video equipment and conference room setup

Remote desktop connectivity applications like SMS, Bomgar, WebEx, Live Meeting, and Windows Native tools tool. Escalations

Troubleshoot and assist end users with mobile device setup, activations, and performance issues.

Handheld Blackberry, Android & IOS support knowledge

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good Understanding of ITIL processes

Hand on Experience on ITSM tools like Service Now

A+ Certified or Equivalent Certified Preferred
