Job summary

Projective Talent, part of Projective Group, is seeking an IT PMO & Project Officer to support financial and operational management of the IT portfolio within a large IT organization. You will collaborate with IT Management, Project Managers, Finance and Business stakeholders, gradually taking ownership of initiatives and progressing toward a Project Manager role.

You will contribute to transversal IT projects, prepare budgets, forecasts and reporting, and help translate data into actionable

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years in consulting, PMO, project management, business analysis, controlling or transformation.
• Strong analytical and pragmatic hands-on mindset.
• Proactive, curious and entrepreneurial with ownership.
• Comfortable with financial data; budgeting/forecasting/accounting knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder communication and assertiveness.
• Excel and PowerPoint proficient; SAP or reporting tools a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French with understanding of the other is ideal.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into concrete actions.
• Gradually take more ownership of projects and initiatives toward end-to-end project management.

Are you analytical, proactive and eager to take on more ownership? Do you enjoy working across different teams and topics, combining financial insights with broader business and IT challenges?

As an IT PMO & Project Officer, you will work at the heart of a large IT organization. You will contribute to the financial and operational management of the IT portfolio, while also supporting transversal projects and initiatives across the organization.

You will work closely with IT Management, Project Managers, Finance and Business stakeholders. As you grow into the role, you will gradually take ownership of your own initiatives and build the experience to develop towards a Project Manager role.

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to transversal projects and improvement initiatives across the IT organization.

Your profile

• You hold a Master's degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering or a related field.
• You have around 2 to 5 years of professional experience, for example in consulting, PMO, project management, business analysis, controlling, transformation or a similar environment.
• You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic and hands‑on mindset.
• You are proactive, curious and entrepreneurial and enjoy taking ownership.
• You are comfortable working with financial information and have an understanding of budgeting, forecasting or accounting principles.
• You communicate easily with different stakeholders and are confident in constructively challenging them when needed.
• You have a good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or reporting tools is an asset.
• You have a strong command of English.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a good understanding of French, or fluent in French with a good understanding of Dutch.
