Next Engineering in Belgium is seeking an IT Change Manager to coordinate IT change requests across systems, governance boards, and ticketing workflows. You will ensure progress through established processes and prepare stakeholders for weekly governance meetings, including CAB/RGB and D-CAB sessions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in change management with a cybersecurity focus, ITIL certification, and hands-on experience with BMC ITSM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Change Manager, ideally in cybersecurity.
• Proficiency with BMC ITSM suite.
• ITIL v3 Transition or ITIL v4 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 2+ years post-degree experience or 6+ years extensive experience.
• Experience assessing cybersecurity-related change requests and risk assessments is a plus.
• Knowledge of SIEM, NIPS/IDS, malware analysis, forensics, penetration testing, system hardening and vulnerability scanning is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper, Linux, Windows, VMware/Hyper-V, and backup/recovery solutions is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate IT change requests across systems, software, patches, hardware and products.
• Triage and follow up on IT-related tickets across multiple ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure change requests progress correctly through established workflows.
• Participate in governance forums, including Impact Assessment Reviews, Technical Review Boards (TRB), Change Advisory Boards (CAB), Release Governance Boards (RGB) and Capacity Management Boards.
• Facilitate change-management meetings, coordinate stakeholders and document clear, actionable outcomes.
• Prepare relevant stakeholders for weekly change-related governance boards.
• Organize and conduct the weekly Distributed Change Advisory Board (D-CAB).
• Coordinate and gather information across internal teams and external stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE:

• 3+ years of experience as a Change Manager, preferably in a cybersecurity environment.
• Proficiency with BMC’s ITSM suite.
• ITIL v3 Transition certification or equivalent ITIL v4 certification.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 2+ years of relevant post-degree experience, or 6+ years of extensive and progressive relevant professional experience.
• Experience assessing cybersecurity-related change requests, understanding technical contexts and performing risk assessments is a plus.
• Knowledge of SIEM, NIPS/IDS, full-packet capture, malware analysis, forensics, penetration testing, system hardening and vulnerability scanning is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco or Juniper, Linux, Windows, VMware/Hyper-V, and backup and recovery solutions is a plus.
