OneSource Consulting is seeking a hands-on Change Manager to assess, approve, plan and guide changes through successful IT implementations in Belgium. You will work across IT teams, suppliers and business stakeholders to ensure changes are controlled and released within approved processes.

The role requires strong ITIL Change and Release Management knowledge, experience with ServiceNow, and the ability to manage risks and complex IT deployments in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in IT Operations, Service Management, Change or Release Management.
• Deep ITIL Change Management and release management knowledge.
• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
• Excellent analytical, risk-aware and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a hands-on Change Manager who can assess, approve, plan and operationally guide changes to a successful implementation based on risk, impact and knowledge of change and release processes, even during evening and weekend windows.
• Are you an experienced IT professional with a thorough knowledge of Change Management and Release Management? Are you able to correctly assess the impact and risks of changes and ensure that implementations are controlled and successful? Then we are looking for you.
• As a Change Manager , you are responsible for the end-to-end management of changes within our IT environment. You assess change requests, monitor the quality of the files, make decisions about the approval of changes and ensure optimal planning and execution of releases and implementations.
• You act as a central point of contact between IT teams, suppliers and business stakeholders and ensure that changes are carried out safely, in a controlled manner and in accordance with the agreed processes.

Your responsibilities

• Assessing change requests for completeness, impact, risk and implementation quality.
• Approve, reject, or elevate changes within established governance.
• Coordinate and schedule changes and releases within available maintenance windows.
• Chairing and organizing CABs (Change Advisory Boards).
• Monitoring the change and release calendar and preventing conflicts between changes.
• Supervising implementations and following up on critical changes during implementation.
• Supporting technical teams with risk assessments, mitigation plans and rollback scenarios.
• Follow up on post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
• Analyzing change KPIs and contributing to the continuous improvement of the processes.
• Ensure compliance with change management and release management processes.

Your profile

Required experience

• At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations, Service Management, Change Management of Release Management.
• In-depth knowledge of ITIL Change Management and release management.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
• Ability to correctly assess technical risks and business impact.
• Experience coordinating complex IT implementations.
• Language skills: very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is required
• Analytical and Risk-aware.
• Organizationally strong and structured.
• Stress-resistant and able to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
