Job summary

ALTIA in Belgium seeks an IT Business Analyst to lead end-to-end business and data analysis, elicit and document requirements, model processes (BPMN/UML), and support UAT to deliver secure, compliant digital solutions.

The role requires a university degree, 10+ years IT experience, strong requirements engineering, Agile/Scrum experience, and excellent English; French is a plus. You will join an international, cross-functional team offering growth, autonomy and real project impact.

Qualifications

• University degree at EQF Level 6 or 7 (Bachelor’s/Master’s or equivalent).
• 10+ years of IT experience with proven business analysis in large/complex organisations.
• Strong requirements engineering, functional/non-functional, and process modelling.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum including backlog management and ceremonies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint (GitLab valued).
• Excellent stakeholder management in international contexts.
• Experience supporting UAT, test design, and traceability to tests/releases.
• Strong English communication; French is a plus.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst with solid experience in multicultural and cross-functional environments.

You will join an international, cross-functional team in a European institutional environment, leading end-to-end business and data analysis—eliciting and documenting requirements, modelling processes (BPMN/UML), aligning stakeholders, and supporting UAT—to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality digital solutions.

Must-haves For This Challenge

• University degree at EQF Level 6 or 7 (Bachelor’s/Master’s or equivalent).
• 10+ years of IT experience, with substantial, proven experience in Business Analysis in large/complex organisations.
• Strong requirements engineering skills (functional and non-functional), process modelling (BPMN/UML), and documentation (BRD, specs, user stories, acceptance criteria).
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum (incl. backlog management, refinement, and participation in ceremonies).
• Proficiency with collaboration and requirements tools: Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint (GitLab valued).
• Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation in international, multicultural contexts.
• Experience supporting UAT, test design, and traceability from requirements to tests and releases.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2/C1 or higher); French is an asset.
• Familiarity with EU regulatory/legislative contexts and data/reporting practices (e.g., KPIs, BI/SQL/Excel).
