Netcompany Belgium is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and documentation for complex software projects. You will translate business needs into user stories, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the SDLC from planning through UAT.

You bring 8+ years of BA experience, strong English communication, and a solid grasp of APIs, databases and system integrations, ideally with large-scale or public-sector systems and SAFe/LeSS exposure.

• Must have university degree in a related field and 8+ years as a Business Analyst.
• Strong experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes.
• Experience collaborating with developers, architects and testers in Agile teams.

Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as a Business Analystin Netcompany?

As aBusiness Analystyou will:

• Gather, analyse and document business and user requirements.
• Analyse existing business processes, identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with developers, architects, testers, Product Owners and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document workflows, business rules, functional specifications and system requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Clarify and refine requirements throughout development to ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum delivery within a large enterprise environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and application functionality.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on software or application development projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis and functional documentation.
• Proven experience working closely with developers, architects, testers and other technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement and UAT.
• Functional understanding of APIs, databases and system integrations, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with strong English communication abilities.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise or public-sector systems, preferably in procurement, finance, grants or programme management; experience in international/EU organisations or scaled Agile environments (SAFe/LeSS) is an advantage.
