Job summary

On IT, part of the Classo Technology Group, is seeking a Field Engineer to support and maintain customer IT equipment, networks, and audiovisual devices. You will diagnose complex issues, provide practical solutions, and install systems at client sites in Belgium.

Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Analyzing complex problems and making diagnoses.
• Providing appropriate solutions and advising customers on how to make the best use of their equipment.

Maintenance and Repair

• Performing maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
• Repairing malfunctioning devices (such as monitors, printers, cameras, etc.) and ensuring they function optimally again.

Installation and Implementation

• Install and configure new devices and systems at customer sites. You'll pick these up from our warehouse in Denderleeuw.
• Providing guidance and training to customers on how to use their new equipment and software.

Customer Focus

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical questions.
• Communicate proactively and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Technical knowledge:

• A strong affinity for IT and technology is essential
• Basic knowledge of networking is a must (LAN, IP addresses, routers, switches, etc.) because monitors, printers, and other devices at customer sites are often integrated via the network
• Experience with audiovisual equipment, printers, or digital signage is a plus
• You can independently understand and apply technical documentation
• Candidates with a background as a technician at telecom companies are an excellent fit

• You have a hands-on approach and enjoy getting your hands dirty.
• You're solution-oriented and take responsibility for your tasks.

Language Skills

• Dutch: very good knowledge
• English & French: a plus if you have a good knowledge
