Job summary

Daikin Europe NV is seeking a Field Service Safety Governance Specialist to strengthen and govern safety across its EMEA service network, ensuring the Field Service Safety Management System is implemented and improvements are driven. You will work with safety reps, service management, contractors, and leadership to reduce risk and promote safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in occupational health and safety, preferably within field service, technical service, industrial, HVAC-R, or construction environments.
• Good understanding of ISO 45001 and safety management systems.
• For Belgian applicants, a Prevention Advisor Level 2 is a minimum requirement.
• Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and compliance management
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured approach to governance and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.

Responsibilities

• Defining and maintaining the Field Service Safety Governance framework across EMEA.
• Monitoring affiliate compliance with safety requirements, audits, corrective actions, and progress reporting.
• Managing safety performance indicators, dashboards, incident reporting systems, and trend analysis.
• Coordinating investigations of incidents and ensuring lessons are shared.
• Supporting affiliates in risk assessments and preventive actions.
• Developing and maintaining safety training programs and competency frameworks.
• Supporting the implementation and improvement of safety management systems.
• Managing governance documentation and SharePoint materials.
• Supporting subcontractor and partner safety management to ensure Daikin standards.
• Acting as the central point of contact for field service safety governance across EMEA.
