Daikin Europe NV is seeking a technically skilled engineer to bridge R&D and our European service network. You will ensure transfer of knowledge and provide advanced troubleshooting support across EMEA, on-site or remotely by phone, email, chat, or video.

We offer an open-ended contract with a competitive salary and benefits. Regular travel within Europe is required up to 15% of your time, and the role may suit school-leavers as well as experienced engineers.”

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Engineering is required, preferably with a focus on electro-mechanics.
• Knowledge of HVAC-R is advantageous.
• Open to school-leavers.
• Customer-oriented, analytical and driven by continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 15% within Europe.
• Hands-on, pragmatic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Develop clear and comprehensive service manuals and deliver technical service trainings.
• Act as a 3rd line helpdesk, supporting EMEA colleagues with advanced troubleshooting, on site or remotely via phone, e-mail, chat, or online meetings.
• Collaborate closely with quality departments to address market complaints and claims.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement, and contribute to projects that enhance the organisation.
• Take part in the European scope of the role, including regular short business trips abroad.
