Daikin Europe is seeking a technically adept specialist to bridge R&D and the EMEA service network. You will develop clear service manuals and deliver trainings, and act as a 3rd line helpdesk for advanced troubleshooting across Europe, on-site or remotely.

You will collaborate with factory quality teams to address issues and drive continuous improvement. The role requires a MSc in Engineering, preference for electro‑mechanics, and fluency in English; travel up to 15% across Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Engineering is required, preferably with a focus on electro‑mechanics.
• Knowledge of HVAC‑R (Heating, Ventilation, Air‑Conditioning and Refrigeration) will be of strong advantage.
• This vacancy is open as well to school-leavers.
• You are customer‑oriented, analytical, and driven by continuous improvement.
• You communicate fluently in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• You show a pragmatic and hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• You are willing to travel up to 15% of your time for short business trips within Europe.

Responsabilités

• Developing clear and comprehensive service manuals and delivering technical service trainings.
• Acting as a 3rd line helpdesk, supporting EMEA colleagues with advanced troubleshooting, on site or remotely via phone, e‑mail, chat, or online meetings.
• Collaborating closely with the quality departments of our factories to anticipate and address market complaints and claims.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement, and contributing to projects that enhance our organisation.
• Taking part in the European scope of the role, including regular short business trips abroad.
