Leggett Dynamics is seeking an EHS Manager (m/f/d) to lead our Environmental, Health & Safety function within the Plant Management team. The role focuses on building a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving improvements across manufacturing operations to reduce risk and improve wellbeing.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Certified Prevention Advisor Level II (Level I would be an advantage) and ideally Environmental Coordinator Level A or B.
• 5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment; Automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent Dutch, French and English language skills.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, corporate standards, and internal requirements through effective monitoring and auditing activities.
• Lead EHS training and awareness initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and promote safe working practices.
• Monitor regulatory developments and corporate requirements, ensuring timely implementation of necessary actions.
• Review and approve new equipment, processes, and operational changes to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks.
• Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance EHS performance, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Ensure accurate EHS reporting and effective use of the Safeguard system.
• Support emergency response, business continuity, and assigned deputy or back-up responsibilities as required.
