Job summary

Leggett Dynamics in Wevelgem, Belgium, is seeking an EHS Manager (m/f/d) to lead the Environmental, Health & Safety function within the Plant Management team. You will drive regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and promote a proactive safety culture across our manufacturing operations.

You will coach colleagues, implement training, monitor legislation, approve new equipment and processes, and drive continuous EHS improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Certified Prevention Advisor Level II (Level I advantageous) and Environmental Coordinator Level A or B preferred.
• 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environment; automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management.
• Data-driven mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Lead and evolve our EHS function ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Support a zero-accident safety culture and improve employee wellbeing.
• Coach colleagues to maintain high performance and safe practices.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement actions.
• Lead EHS training and awareness initiatives.
• Review and approve equipment, processes, and changes for EHS risks.
• Drive continuous improvement to EHS performance and operational excellence.
• Ensure accurate EHS reporting using the Safeguard system.
• Support emergency response and business continuity as required.
