Leggett Dynamics is seeking an EHS Manager (m/f/d) to lead Environmental, Health & Safety in our Plant Management team for the automotive segment. You will ensure compliance with regulations, foster a proactive safety culture, and reduce risk across operations.

You will work with a dedicated EHS technician team to strengthen employee wellbeing and deliver sustainable safety and operational excellence. Strong Dutch, French, and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field.
• Certified Prevention Advisor Level II (Level I would be an advantage).
• 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environment; automotive experience a plus.

We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for an EHS Manager (m/f/d) within our Plant Management team to help support our Automotive business. As an EHS Manager (m/f/d), you will lead and evolve our Environmental, Health & Safety function, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by reducing risk, enhancing employee wellbeing, and supporting sustainable business success. The team you will be working with is a dedicated group of EHS Technicians who are passionate about creating a safe, healthy, and high-performing workplace.

• Drive a safety-first culture and support our commitment to a zero-accident workplace
• Provide guidance, coach, and support colleagues to ensure high performance and to inspire everyone to live a strong safety culture
• Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, corporate standards, and internal requirements through effective monitoring and auditing activities
• Lead EHS training and awareness initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and promote safe working practices
• Monitor regulatory developments and corporate requirements, ensuring timely implementation of necessary actions
• Review and approve new equipment, processes, and operational changes to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks
• Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance EHS performance, compliance, and operational excellence
• Ensure accurate EHS reporting and effective use of the Safeguard system
• Support emergency response, business continuity, and assigned deputy or back-up responsibilities as required

To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need

• A degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline
• Certified Prevention Advisor Level II (Level I would be an advantage) and ideally Environmental Coordinator Level A or B
• 5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, Automotive experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent Dutch, French and English language skills
