Leggett & Platt seeks a Senior EHS Specialist to support our European operations, focusing on regulatory compliance, risk reduction, and practical EHS solutions. This remote role reports to the Regional EHS Manager and requires close collaboration with site leaders to drive safe and compliant workplaces across Europe.

The Senior EHS Specialist will help strengthen EHS performance, lead audits, and support ISO and other program implementations while traveling within Europe as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• In-depth knowledge of EU-level EHS/OSH requirements and country-specific regulations.
• Strong ability to identify hazards and implement sustainable risk-reduction solutions.

Responsabilités

• Support regional EHS plans aligned with corporate goals across Europe.
• Serve as regional EHS resource to site leadership on regulatory expectations and risk reduction.
• Assess site needs, prioritize EHS actions, and escalate high-risk matters to Regional EHS Manager.
• Provide hands-on guidance during site visits and support incident investigations as needed.
• Analyze incident trends to identify systemic prevention opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, environmental, and regulatory requirements across assigned operations.
