HumanInTech is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product Discovery Specialist to drive digital transformation for corporate banking channels. You will gather requirements, map journeys and create business cases, guiding cross-functional teams for delivery in a hybrid Brussels setting.

Ideal candidates bring 6–10 years in consulting or client-facing roles, strong communication, and proficiency in BPMN, Excel and data-driven decision-making. English plus Dutch or French is required.

What you will do

You will drive the development and continuous optimisation of digital channels for corporate banking customers, combining business analysis, product discovery and data-driven decision making. Your work will focus on customer and employee-facing journeys related to professional loans, from credit acquisition to transactional and reporting needs.

Your responsibilities include:

• Requirements gathering, business analysis and discovery activities to understand customer needs, business objectives and pain points, translating insights into valuable opportunities and solutions
• Stakeholder engagement for projects within your scope, ensuring alignment around progress, timelines and objectives
• Identifying, evaluating and recommending effective and feasible solutions, balancing customer value, business impact, costs and implementation constraints
• Supporting the testing phase with business requirement clarification, creating presentation materials for change management and leading incident closure in collaboration with functional analysts and developers
• Working closely with channel management, marketing, product management and process teams to align digital solutions to overall strategy and objectives
• Leading product discovery and business analysis studies, including customer journey mapping, opportunity assessment, concept validation, MVP definition, mock-ups, business case preparation and decision-making material for management teams and boards
• In project mode, collecting, analysing and translating business requirements into detailed business specifications for IT, using a user-centric, collaborative and agile approach

What we are looking for

Essential experience and skills:

• Requirements gathering and analysis, including documentation, OKR definition, customer journey mapping and user story slicing
• BPMN
• Data analysis using Excel, Business Objects or other market-leading tools
• Stakeholder engagement, including stakeholder mapping, active listening and strong communication skills (written and presentation)
• Project management skills, including agile methodologies
• Problem solving and critical thinking, with the ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis, root cause analysis and SWOT analysis
• Experience creating business cases from preparation to validation
• Experience working on digital transformation projects in a consulting or client-facing environment
• Use of collaborative tools such as digital whiteboards and SharePoint
• Understanding of delivery frameworks and methodologies (Prince 2, PMP, Agile, Scrum)
• Ability to run productive meetings, work collaboratively and facilitate workshops
• Extensive experience working on digital transformation projects in a consulting or client-facing environment
• Experience managing digital projects, including planning, execution, monitoring and closing projects to meet business objectives and deadlines

Valuable additions:

• Experience with concept design, UX testing and innovation
• Proficiency in using data insights for making informed business decisions and optimising digital channels
• Experience in the financial services sector and familiarity with daily banking and cards (credit, debit, card management) in an enterprise context
• Experience with professional loans in an enterprise context

The setting

This assignment runs from September 2026 to September 2027.

The role is based in Brussels with a hybrid working model: 50% on site and 50% working from home.

English proficiency is essential, complemented by excellent knowledge of at least Dutch or French.

Limited travel within Belgium or internationally may be required.
