HumanInTech seeks a project professional to support the CSRD programme at a major Belgian bank, coordinating aftercare of sustainability disclosures and steering the 2026 annual report edition. The role sits within the finance function and involves coordinating a wide range of stakeholders.

The position requires a master’s degree (or equivalent) and 3–6 years in financial services, with strong MS Office skills, data handling in Excel, and a proven ability to drive change.

What you will do

You will support the CSRD programme at a major Belgian bank, ensuring the aftercare of recent sustainability disclosures and steering the preparation of the 2026 annual report edition. The role sits within the finance function and involves coordinating a wide range of stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assimilating the CSRD framework and its impacts
• Examining the disclosure requirements for implementation
• Assessing the required data needs, comparing with existing data, and carrying out or supporting the data gap analysis
• Setting up and animating the CSRD ESRS stakeholder group, involving key stakeholders from finance, risk, data, business, compliance, engagement and sustainability, facilities, HR and other areas
• Updating and detailing the project plan, roadmap and resourcing, and providing regular updates as part of the defined governance
• Monitoring the project progress against deadlines
• Contributing to interactions with group entities
• Supporting the stream leads in the delivery of their contributions on an ad hoc basis
• Utilising industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout project execution

You will also assess potential impacts of other initiatives such as EBA guidelines on ESG risk management and their alignment with CSRD.

What we are looking for

Education and certification

• Master's degree or similar by qualification
• Project or programme management professional certification preferred

Experience

• 3 to 6 years of experience
• Experience in the financial services sector, preferably banking

Technical skills

• Strong MS Office skills
• You can efficiently deal with data in Excel
• Internal control notions (audit) are preferable
• Knowledge of change or project management methodologies, principles and techniques is preferable
• Experience of banking tools and financial processes is an asset

Business knowledge

• Knowledge of the ESG/ESRS finance regulatory reporting world is preferable
• Good understanding of workflow processes within a banking environment is preferable
• Strong organisational and business strategy insight
• Audit experience is preferable

The setting

This role runs from mid-September 2026 to the end of March 2027. You will be based in Brussels, with an expectation of 50% on-site and 50% home working, with exceptions during project delivery or onboarding.

The working language is English. You need excellent Dutch and English, and good French.
