ENTICO ICT in Brussels is looking for a Functional Analyst to join a dynamic digital banking team. You will gather and document important business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and work closely with development teams in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, particularly in the banking sector, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with UX/UI designs is a plus, along with fluency in Dutch or French and English.

• Solid knowledge of UML, REST APIs, SQL, and relevant tools.

Join a digital banking environment focused on Online & Mobile Banking, including payments, cards, digital signatures, onboarding journeys, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, developers, testers, and fellow analysts within agile squads.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.

Create and maintain user stories in Jira, functional documentation in Confluence, and detailed feature specifications.

Design service specifications and support the definition of data models together with Data Architects.

Work closely with development teams and architects to define and validate solution designs.

Support Scrum teams throughout the development, testing, and delivery phases.

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst.

Strong experience within the banking sector, preferably in:

• Payments (Instant Payments, Mobile Payments, QR Payments)
• Card solutions and tokenization (e.g. Apple Pay, Wero)
• KYC and Customer Onboarding processes

Solid knowledge of:

• UML and BPMN modelling
• REST APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• SQL and relational databases
• Jira, Confluence, Enterprise Architect and ALM tools

Experience with cloud technologies, mobile development processes, middleware, and application monitoring is a plus.
