Challenge Handling is seeking an Operations Officer to act as liaison with clients and oversee cargo-related flight handling. You will instruct and guide build-up, coordinate with Shift Leaders, and ensure accurate communication across internal departments and customers.

You will issue required flight papers and support continuous improvement via reporting channels. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, fluent English, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written).
  • Computer skills.
  • Clean police record (to be proven).
  • Excellent human relationship skills.
  • Team worker.
  • Able to work under operational constraints and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to invest extra hours if needed.

Responsabilités

  • Coordinate and supervise all cargo-related functions associated with flight handling.
  • Daily coordination with the client to meet goals, including optimizing build-up, weight vs volume, and dangerous goods policy.
  • Organize/optimize the warehouse and ramp activities, coordinating with shift leaders and Duty Managers while respecting safety, productivity and quality objectives.
  • Follow up flight schedule, set up HOTAC, crew transport and in-flight catering if requested by the airline.
  • Prepare weight & balance and load plan, accounting for all planned load and A/C restrictions.
  • Ensure flight crews receive all information and PPW needed (ZFW, NOTAM, METEO, GEN-DEC).
  • Achieve an "ON TIME" performance.
  • Respect and follow handling procedures linked to CEIV certifications (Pharma, live animals, lithium batteries) based on SLA and SOP and training.

Job Description

The Ops Officer will act as a liaison officer on behalf of the company towards our clients. He/she will instruct and guide the build-up of the cargo in coordination with the Shift Leaders and Duty Manager. He/she must communicate accurately and efficiently with all internal departments and clients. He/she will provide/issue all flight papers required by the customer. He/she is responsible for reporting any potential problems, possible improvements, ideas or feelings that could help contribute to continuous improvement of well-being at work, safety and quality, via all available reporting channels confidentially, anonymously or by name.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Formal requirements: bachelor's degree.
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written).
  • Computer skills.
  • Clean police record (to be proven).

  • Ability to invest extra hours if needed.
Additional Experience
  • Experience as traffic officer, load controller or loadmaster preferred.
  • Successfully pass the internal load master course.
  • Valid dangerous goods licence.
