PSA BDP is seeking an experienced import forwarder to coordinate and execute customer orders from A to Z, focusing on end-to-end import operations. The role involves handling customs procedures, documentation, and close cooperation with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements include 3+ years in logistics and forwarding, knowledge of English, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with initiative.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of detailed logistics and forwarding operations experience.
• Preferable a professional degree in logistics and forwarding.
• Computer literacy with MS Office or similar software.
• Knowledge of at least 2 foreign business languages.
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory.
• Initiative and strong sense for organization to meet customer requirements.
• Forwarding experience (export/import) is an advantage.
• Extended customs procedures knowledge is necessary.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and execute customer orders per requirements and procedures.
• Handle import files from A to Z.
• Process orders and analyze order plausibility.
• Plan, book, and coordinate transportation orders.
• Follow up on shipments and coordinate with carriers/subcontractors.
• Handle customs procedures for imports.
• Prepare documentation, filing and invoicing.
• Provide feedback to customers via multiple communication channels.
• Report non-conformances and support KPI tracking.

At the moment, we are looking for an experienced forwarder for our import deparment.

Job summary

• Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and/or procedures
• Handling import files from A to Z

Tasks and responsibilities

• Order processing management
• Customer order plausibility analysis
• Planning / Booking / Transportation orders
• Coordination/follow up of the shipment
• Customs processing (import)
• Documentation/administration/filing/invoicing
• Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, electronic data interchange)
• Operational troubleshooting
• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s.
• Cooperation with approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates
• End to end processing
• Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation

Required skills

• +3 years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation
• Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
• Firm knowledge of at least 2 foreign “business”-languages
• Good knowledge of English is mandatory
• Initiative and strong sense for organization in order to meet customer requirements.
• Polyvalent forwarding experience (export/import) is an advantage
• Extended (export/import) customs procedure knowledge is necessary.
