Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst to lead workstreams in a large-scale transformation program for next-generation store and POS landscapes.

You will elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, produce BRDs and user stories, and coordinate UAT. The role emphasizes stakeholder management, change readiness, and delivering operational impact assessments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a BA, Process Analyst, or Product Analyst.
• Experience in large-scale ERP, digital, or transformation programs.
• Proven ability to document business requirements with BRDs, user stories, flows.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English.

Job description

Our client, a leading organization in the retail sector, is looking for a Business Analyst to lead business workstreams within a large-scale transformation program. The role focuses on driving requirements, validation, and change readiness for next-generation store and point-of-sale landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary business lead and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned feature areas within the transformation program.
• Drive business engagement across local, regional, and external stakeholder groups throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate business activities during the design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, producing deliverables such as BRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Review solution proposals from a business perspective and challenge designs to ensure they meet operational needs.
• Define business acceptance criteria and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure successful process validation.
• Assess operational impacts and identify requirements for training, communication, and change readiness to support solution adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Product Analyst.
• Experience working within large-scale ERP, digital, or business transformation programs.
• Proven expertise in documenting business requirements using BRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Strong background in stakeholder management and facilitating complex workshop facilitation sessions.
• Experience with governance support, including tracking decisions, risks, and dependencies for steering committees.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable delivery requirements and technical specifications.
• Proactive and self-managing with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a delivery-focused mindset.
• You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience within the retail industry.
• Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, pricing, or supply chain.
• Experience with SAP or other major retail platforms and omnichannel commerce solutions.
• Knowledge of data and reporting solutions and master data management.
