About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a large-scale ICT programme focused on digital solutions that support rail traffic operations and collaboration with external logistics partners.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business and IT by analysing stakeholder needs, translating them into functional and technical specifications, and ensuring successful delivery of software solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams, operational stakeholders, and external partners while driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.

Analyse and optimise existing business processes.

Develop clear requirements documentation and user stories.

Collaborate closely with software development teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.

Create test cases and test scenarios.

Coordinate functional testing and validate delivered solutions.

Perform impact analyses for new business requirements.

Produce functional and technical documentation, including work instructions and user guides.

Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in Business and Functional Analysis within Agile ICT projects.

Extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements.

Proven experience translating requirements into user stories.

Strong knowledge of business process modelling and analysis.

Experience working closely with software development teams.

Experience in functional testing and solution validation.

Experience performing business impact analyses.

Experience writing functional and technical documentation.
