Job summary

Aikido Security BV in Belgium is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to scale our people operations—from contracts and onboarding to payroll and employee administration—with Belgium as our main hub. You will own day‑to‑day HR operations for Belgium, including payroll, contracts, and compliance, and act as the go‑to person for employee admin questions.

Coordinate with legal and HR partners on local employment rules, manage onboarding/offboarding, and oversee benefits programs with tools

Qualifications

• Strong HR and payroll knowledge in Belgium.
• Experience coordinating with global HR operations across regions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations (payroll, contracts, and compliance), mainly for Belgium
• Act as the go-to person for employee admin questions (vacation attestations, local labor rules, visa sponsorship, etc.)
• Smooth onboarding/offboarding
• Help manage employee benefits, including Belgian programs like Mobility budget, group insurance, eco and meal vouchers, and healthcare, plus equivalents in other countries
• Work with HR tools and vendors such as Oyster, Rippling, Deel and local payroll partners
• Coordinate with legal and HR partners when questions come up around compliance or local employment rules
• Good HR and payroll expertise in Belgium, with US process experience as a strong plus.
• Familiar with global HR ops (contracts, benefits, compliance, in different regions)
• Practical, organized, detail‑driven
• Tech‑savvy with HR tools (Officient, Rippling, Oyster, Deel, etc.)
• Clear, strong communicator and eager to learn
