Job summary

SkillLabs in Belgium is seeking a Collections Specialist with 2-3 years of automotive collections experience to manage agency partners and drive efficient cash collection processes. You will allocate portfolios, review cases, coordinate with agencies, and ensure compliance withdisposition codes and reporting requirements.

The role demands independent performance, strong data management, and the ability to handle escalations while coordinating with legal and enforcement bodies as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of collection experience in automotive products (LMV, TW, 3W, LCV, MCV, HCV)
• Experience in managing collection agencies
• Excellent data management skills
• Individual performer with strong ownership of tasks

Responsibilities

• Allocate portfolio to vendor based on past performance and FOS availability, ensuring sufficient manpower.
• Review cases with FOS/TL and assign work based on disposition code.
• Coordinate with agency resources and plan calls for quicker resolutions and support to agencies.
• Audit receipt books and repo kits; monitor discrepancies.
• Close agency billing within 60 days after completion.
• Ensure prior approvals in repo cases and assist agencies with related issues.
• Handle customer service issues/escalations on collections/repos.
• Coordinate with legal team for actions against chronic defaulters; liaise with enforcement agencies.
• Track BKT resolution with agency and FO levels.
• Restrict flow rates to the next BKT for the location handled.
• Remove non-performing FOs and recruit/train new teams as needed.
• Close CRM queries within TAT; escalate as required.
• Revert RCU audit queries before TAT and implement field actions.
• Discuss receipt book discrepancies with agency to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain 100% HHT utilization and report to ACM/RCM regularly.
• Inform IT if HHT is not functioning to obtain support.
