Job summary

HR-Technologies is seeking an operational Team Lead Collections in Belgium to manage and coach the credit collection team in daily tasks while actively contributing to the collections process.

You will monitor process quality, drive improvements, and analyse payment behavior to improve KPIs such as DSO and ageing. Collaboration with Sales, Customer Service and Finance is essential to ensure smooth handling of cases.

Qualifications

• Experience in Collections, Credit Control or similar financial role.
• Management experience or ambition to advance.
• Hands-on mindset; willing to roll up sleeves and work with the team.
• Strong communication, customer focus, and decisiveness.
• Analytical with KPI and process-improvement affinity.
• Structured thinker who motivates people; Dutch, French and English are required; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the credit collection team and coach them in daily work.
• Monitor the quality of the collection process and support in complex cases.
• Drive process improvements and implement optimisations.
• Analyse payment behaviour and initiate KPI improvements (DSO, ageing, dispute follow-up).
• Be the point of contact for escalations and structural solutions.
• Maintain close contact with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to ensure smooth case handling.
