Job summary

Daikin Europe NV invites applications for an Area Sales Responsible to grow the business with our distributor network across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You will learn the market, define mid- and long-term strategies, and become the market expert within Daikin.

You will establish partnerships, plan commercial activities, support distributors at events and product launches, and monitor performance against budgets. Travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Master in Economics or Commercial Engineering; first professional experience in a similar function.
• You are an independent worker with initiative and readiness to embrace new opportunities.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
• You combine an analytical mindset with a strong commercial attitude and interest in HVAC-R products.

Responsibilities

• Establish a strong partnership with your distributor(s).
• Build knowledge of local markets and players.
• Prepare, plan and implement commercial strategies and action plans (sales route, pricing, marketing).
• Support distributors locally in dealer events and exhibitions, product launches, and key projects.
• Monitor results versus budget and manage market demand, forecast, payments, and quality.
• Travel up to 25% of your time.
