Austin Bright is seeking an Accountant to join our international Brussels-based team. You will manage the accounting for multiple entities, handling Belgian GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS reporting, and work closely with the Chief Accountant on monthly and annual closings.

This role offers exposure to a multinational finance function, a central Brussels location, and opportunities to deepen expertise in international accounting standards and financial reporting for a global real estate group.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Solid experience in general accounting.
• Familiar with Belgian GAAP and eager to develop US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting software.
• Rigorous, analytical and detail-oriented.
• Good command of English is an asset.

Mansioni

• Manage the general accounting of several entities.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian GAAP and US GAAP, depending on the entity.
• Participate in monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Prepare the necessary adjustments for IFRS reporting.

The finance team deals with multiple accounting standards and international reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Your Role

Working directly alongside the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting of several entities and contribute to the preparation of financial information for both local and international reporting purposes. You will work with Belgian GAAP and US GAAP, while also contributing to IFRS reporting.
