Qualifications

• Fluent in English and French.
• Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience.

Robert Half is currently looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant (m/f/x) for a permanent position.

Our client is an international company located in Groot-Bijgaarden.

As a Senior Corporate Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating accounting activities and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Supervising month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations and general ledger processes.
• Monitoring budgets, costs and financial performance within the assigned scope.
• Managing tax compliance, audit support and statutory reporting requirements.
• Supporting business projects, process improvements and the integration of new entities.
• Coaching accounting team members and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The required qualifications for this position of Senior Corporate Accountant are:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent through experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• You have experience preparing financial statements.
• Experience within an international or shared service environment is considered an asset.
• A first people management or coaching experience is a plus.
• Experience within the Services or Retail sector is required.
• You have knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
• Experience with ERP implementations, migrations or system improvement projects is a strong asset.
• You are fluent in English and French.
• You have advanced Excel skills and experience working with SAP. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
