Linking Talents Belgium is seeking a Senior Accountant for a permanent role in Brussels. You will own monthly close processes, manage full-cycle accounting for Belgian entities, and ensure VAT compliance while reporting to the CFO within a growing corporate group.

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in line with Belgian GAAP.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting activities (AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare Belgian VAT filings and coordinate foreign VAT declarations.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and maintain documentation.
• Support cash-flow forecasting, liquidity management, and payment approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate Belgian GAAP accounts and internal management reporting.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting activities (AP/AR, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and account cleanups).
• Prepare Belgian VAT filings, coordinate foreign VAT declarations with external advisors, and maintain internal control standards aligned with group policies.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, preparing documentation and resolving inquiries.
• Assist with cash-flow forecasting, liquidity management, credit facilities, and payment approvals.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar Senior Accountant role.
• Strong working knowledge of Belgian GAAP & local VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with standard accounting software (ideally BOB ).
• Fluency in French and English.
• Autonomous, analytical, organized, and collaborative approach to work.
