Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen the finance function of its Belgian entities within a fast-growing, international group. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will join a growing team and manage the full accounting cycle for the group's Belgian entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Several years of accounting experience in international, industrial, or fast-growing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP is essential.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing processes.
• Fluent in French and/or English.

Responsabilités

• Managing the full accounting cycle for the group's key Belgian entities.
• Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings under Belgian GAAP.
• Preparing reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and reporting schedules.
• Supporting audit processes and ensuring data accuracy.
• Collaborating with Business Controllers and operation teams.
• Contributing to process improvements and reporting tools.
• Assisting consolidation and group reporting when required.
• Acting as a key finance partner in a fast-growing organisation.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will join a growing finance team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability of the accounting function for the group's main Belgian entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full accounting cycle from A to Z for the group's key Belgian entities;
• Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in compliance with Belgian GAAP;
• Preparing reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting schedules;
• Supporting audit processes and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information;
• Collaborating closely with Business Controllers and operational teams in a project-driven environment;
• Contributing to the implementation and optimisation of accounting processes, controls, and reporting tools;
• Supporting consolidation and group reporting activities when required;
• Acting as a key finance partner in a fast-growing organisation undergoing continuous transformation;

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Several years of accounting experience, ideally gained within an international, industrial, project-based, or fast-growing environment;
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP is essential;
• Experience managing accounting activities independently and operating in a dynamic environment;
• Comfortable working with evolving processes and taking ownership of responsibilities;
• Strong analytical skills & attention to detail;
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset;
• Fluent in French & or English;
