We are seeking an experienced Regional Commercial Manager to join our QLD / NT Regional Management Team, playing a pivotal leadership role across our regional portfolio. This opportunity has arisen through internal promotion, reflecting the depth of talent and genuine career pathways within our business.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will lead commercial governance and contractual strategy across multiple projects from tender through delivery. You will partner closely with regional and project leadership to protect entitlement, manage risk and uplift commercial capability across the business.

This is a true regional role, offering visibility, autonomy and the opportunity to influence outcomes beyond a single project environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead commercial and contractual strategy across multiple live projects and tenders
  • Partner with regional and project leadership to manage risk, entitlement and commercial outcomes
  • Review and support tender commercial positions, risk allocation and front‑end negotiations
  • Oversee subcontractor and consultant agreements, ensuring appropriate commercial protections
  • Support joint venture documentation including pre‑bid agreements, MOUs and JV agreements
  • Drive regional capability uplift through coaching, mentoring and commercial leadership
About you
  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial or contract management within construction or infrastructure
  • Strong background in major projects, preferably in a contractor environment
  • Proven capability in claims, variations, negotiations and dispute resolution
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders across a matrix organisation
  • Experience with subcontract and consultant agreements; JV exposure advantageous
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Law or similar
