Job summary

Pindarie is a vibrant Barossa wine tourism destination looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our friendly crew. You will lead and support staff, enhance our wine tasting experiences and contribute ideas for events and seasonal food offerings.

The role requires wine knowledge, sales experience, hospitality background, strong customer service, and RSA certification, with weekend roster flexibility in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Wine knowledge to evaluate and describe wine styles.
• Sales experience in wine sales to engage customers and grow sales.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Strong hospitality background with interest in regional food.
• Commitment to delivering strong customer service with good communication.
• Good computer skills with POS, online bookings and MS Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily staff and assist CD Manager in developing events and experiences.
• Continually improve the wine tasting experience for customers.
• Develop ideas with cooks for seasonal menu items as the business grows the food sector.
• Maintain and manage ordering of all food supplies.
• Assist with functions, events and interstate trade shows.
