Job summary

Langs Building Supplies Pty is seeking a highly organized WH&S Assistant to join our team on a full‑time basis (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday). This important role supports the Workplace Health and Safety Advisor and the Administration Department, with a focus on compliance, documentation and proactive risk management.

The successful candidate will handle site inductions, training records, Safety Data Sheets, risk assessments, and incident support.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workplace Health and Safety preferred with understanding of office procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills and accountability.
• Ability to manage time and priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Current driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the WH&S Advisor and admin duties.
• Inductions for new employees.
• Maintain training records.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets.
• Document risk assessments and procedures.
• Arrange annual First Aid training and hearing tests.
• Take injured workers to medical facilities.
• File relevant documents.
• General WH&S duties as required.
